New Police Headquarters and Justice Centre for the Canton of Zurich / Switzerland

Project overview

A new Police and Justice Center (PJZ) in Zurich was built on the site of the former freight railway station. The new building houses the departments of the cantonal police, the prosecutor's office, the correctional service, the institute of forensic medicine, the police academy and part of the court for criminal proceedings. PJZ has approximately 1,600 workplaces and 350 prison places.
