Čebrať road tunnel

Project overview

The Čebrať road tunnel is part of the section of the D1 Hubová – Ivachnová highway. The two-pipe tunnel is approximately 3.6 km long with an overburden of up to 310 m. Cyclic digging with horizontal division of the frontal part has been designed. Work on the secondary lining (insulation, drainage system, concreting) also takes place simultaneously during the excavation. For this reason, it was necessary to provide ventilation for the remaining part of the excavation using vertical ventilation wells.
